Banish social isolation of seniors…using technology

A “drop in” video communication device like the AMAZON ECHO does not cost much and it is easy to handle, because other than switching it on, a non-tech-savvy senior does not need to tap or activate anything. It beeps a one minute warning that someone is about to drop in via video call, hopefully enough time for anyone to head to where the device is located, and the caller will then appear on screen and interaction begins. Great isn’t it. Technology comes to the rescue during this difficult times of social isolation… and you can sponsor a broadband connection for them too, if they cannot afford it.
